The Pocono Mountains in eastern Pennsylvania serve as a scenic backdrop for outdoor wedding ceremonies.     French Manor

    • The French Manor (thefrenchmanor.com) is a European-style country inn in the heart of the Poconos, located in South Sterling. This accommodation is a AAA four-diamond hotel. French Manor hosts outdoor weddings in its landscaped lawn area. During the summer, the Manor requires wedding parties to have at least 50 guests for afternoon ceremonies, while the minimum for evening ceremonies is 100 guests. The hotel also offers "Elopement Packages," which covers a wedding cake and private ceremony on the hotel's private balcony.

    LaAnna Chapel

    • South Sterling's LaAnna Chapel (laannachapel.com) hosts intimate wedding ceremonies in the Pocono Mountains. Built in 1922, this small chapel has elegant dé-cor and accommodates up to 130 guests for wedding ceremonies. The chapel also has an outdoor courtyard area for outdoor weddings. Wedding parties may host their receptions at LaAnna Chapel. On-site catering is available from the Chapel- however, wedding parties may bring in outside catering.

    Mt. Airy Casino Resort

    • Situated in Mt. Pocono, the Mt. Airy Casino is an upscale Pocono Mountains resort- according to AAA, this resort is a four-diamond accommodation. For weddings, Mt. Airy hosts outdoor weddings on its private lawn- this site offers views of the Pocono Mountains. The casino also accommodates up to 150 guests for indoor weddings inside its Banquet Dining Room. Mt. Airy provides on-site catering for wedding receptions. Other wedding services include a wedding consultant and renewal of wedding vows.

    Skytop Lodge

    • The Skytop Lodge Resort (skytop.com) has a 5,500-acre property in the heart of the Poconos, within 30 minutes of Mt. Pocono. Outdoor weddings provide views of the Pocono Mountains and occur in a manicured garden area, which is surrounded by an iron gate. The garden features cobblestone walkways for the bridal and groom parties. Wedding floral arrangements are available via the resort's Skytop Flower Shop. The most grandiose wedding banquet package, "Exclusive Signature," includes a choice of three entrees, wedding cake, one-hour cocktail reception and a champagne toast. The minimum amount of guests for receptions is 120.
