Proform 830 Qt Specs

The ProForm 830 QT is a fold-away, motorized treadmill for residential use. You can create your own workout using the manual mode or you can have the 830 QT adjust the intensity settings for you. It offers a cushioned walking platform, preset workout programs, built-in pulse sensors and iFit.com interactive technology.

Specifications

The ProForm 830 QT treadmill has a maximum user weight limit of 250 lbs. The speed range is from 0 to 10 mph and the incline range is from 1.5 to 11 percent. You can adjust the speed in .1 mph increments and the incline in .5 percent increments using the control buttons on the console. The belt is lubricated at the factory so you do not have to apply silicone oil or other lubricants to it.

Power Specifications

The ProForm 830 QT is a motorized treadmill that has specific power requirements to run correctly. Plug the 830 QT into a single-outlet surge suppressor that has a UL 1449 rating as a transient voltage surge suppressor. Make sure the surge suppressor is rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps. Plug the surge suppressor into a grounded outlet on a 120-volt circuit. Do not plug-in other appliances into the same power circuit as your treadmill.

Programs

The 830 QT has six built-in workout programs. The treadmill automatically divides the workout into several periods of different time lengths. It adjusts the incline and speed for each period. The 830 QT comes with an audio cable that allows you to connect the treadmill to your computer or stereo and play iFit.com workout CDs, which you purchase separately. The treadmill controls the speed and incline settings as a virtual personal trainer guides you through the workout.

Console Specifications

The console has four display windows. The top-left display shows the distance and laps. The bottom-left display shows the time and incline. The top-right display shows the approximate fat calories and total calories you have burned. It also displays your heart rate when you use the built-in pulse sensors. The bottom-right display shows the speed and pace. A large LED track in the middle of the console represents one-fourth of a mile. Small indicators light up as you progress around the track.
