Save Money On Jenny Craig

With the celebrity successes of Queen Latifah and Valerie Bertinelli, the Jenny Craig weight loss program has experienced a surge in popularity. However, as compared to several other weight loss programs, the plan can be quite expensive. By arming oneself with all of the knowledge before walking in the door, and being assertive with consultants and program directors, everyone can find a way to save money on Jenny Craig.

Instructions

Save Money on Jenny Craig

1. Pay attention to promotions. Temporary specials, such as the 20 for $20 deal and others, will help one save money on Jenny Craig. While promotions such as these usually last only a few weeks, use the deal as a #x201C;kick start,#x201D; then switch to a more financially manageable eating plan. The dieter should only try this if she is positive she has the knowledge and determination to plan meals on her own. Start gradually, about halfway through the promotion, to ensure a smooth transition.

2. Opt out of optional food items and condiments. By sticking to entrees only, one can get close to a reasonable food cost. It will probably still be more per meal than a frugal shopper is used to, but bear in mind the dieter is paying for high-quality, good-tasting low-sodium meals that have all the guesswork taken out of the process. Even sticking to entrees only, one can save money on Jenny Craig.

3. Request a food price list. While locations vary on their willingness to share their food list, it is an entitlement for the customer. Be insistent on securing the list, and take it to the next level if necessary. Certain foods cost more than others, and this is vital information to know when trying to save money on Jenny Craig.

4. Be assertive. Like all businesses, the more products sold, the better. Do not harbor ill will toward employees just trying to do their jobs, but at the same time do not buckle under pressure. Only the consumer knows what she can afford, and if the food cost is getting too high, be vocal about that. Do not be apologetic about wanting to save money on Jenny Craig.

5. Learn what can be swapped. Occasionally, there will be foods in the general market that will be nearly identical in nutritional content to the foods being offered by Jenny Craig. When one spots such a similarity, she should swap this out for the program-sponsored food. However, use this technique sparingly when planning menus. The whole point, after all, is to follow the program, or one may as well be doing it on her own.
