Make Tickets For A Benefit

Make your own tickets for a benefit and save money.

Galas, concerts, and elegant dinners are just a few of the activities held by organizations or individuals as fund-raising benefits. In order for attendees to gain admission to these events, they usually must have tickets. If you are organizing a fund-raising benefit, you can purchase pre-printed tickets or make your own. You can make tickets with a computer, a printer, and Microsoft Word or any other word processing software. Printing the tickets yourself can save you the cost of having a commercial printer do the job for you.

Instructions

1. Download an event ticket template from the Internet. You can obtain an event ticket template by downloading it from the Microsoft Office website.

2. Customize the tickets using the template in Microsoft Word. Add whatever information is relevant to the benefit you are hosting. Include the name of the benefit or charity for which the event is being held, the date and time of the event, any featured guests, the location of the benefit, the price of the ticket, if applicable, and any other pertinent information.

3. Insert the card stock into the paper tray on your printer and print the benefit tickets.

4. Separate the tickets by cutting them. Depending on the template you choose, it may print more than one ticket on the card stock. If so, you must cut the tickets apart along the edges to separate them.

Tips Warnings

You can change the font style and size, or add an image to the ticket while you are designing your custom tickets in Microsoft Word.
