Use the online system to complete the marriage license application and set up an appointment. While not required, the online system gives you a head start on the licensing process, and the county clerk's office takes online applicants and those with appointments before walk-in applicants, according to the Orange County clerk's website. The application may be obtained and completed at the courthouse as well.

      Show up together on the day of your appointment at the Old Orange County Courthouse. Bring all documents, identification, and the marriage license/certificate fee, which was $61.50 as of April 2010.

Tips &- Warnings

  • Applicants must be 18 or older. There are no other requirements and blood tests are not required.
