The cost of a disneyland wedding

The cost of a disneyland wedding

It's interesting:
"For those of you who are attending their first Jewish wedding, there may be some customs you're unfamiliar with. Like when Paul stepped on the glass at the end ..."

Most women begin as little girls imagining their fairytale wedding. The ultimate fairytale wedding could only take place at the enchanting Disneyland resort. There the wedding planners act as fairy godmothers and grant the bride's every wish. Brides can choose one of several ceremony and reception locations as well as other details. The prices of weddings there will vary based on the elements involved, but a general budget can be found below.

  1. Location Options

    • The Disneyland resort offers several locations you can choose from for your wedding ceremony. You can choose to be married at the Disneyland Hotel. Here the bride can walk down the aisle in the midst of 800 rosebushes towards a gazebo where the groom awaits.

Another choice is the Disneyland Californian Hotel and Spa where you can tie the knot in either the elegant outdoor wedding garden or the Sequoia ballroom.

You could also choose a nighttime wedding in the Disneyland park right in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle.

    Elegant Wedding Option

    • There are two types of budget options for a Disneyland wedding. The more basic of the two is really not basic at all. For $15,000- $25,000 you can have this package. The "Elegant Wedding" includes a special wedding location in the Disneyland resort hotels and a harpist. Floral arrangements including the bride's bouquet, three bridemaids' bouquets, groom's boutonniere, three groomsmen's boutonnieres and a unity candle arrangement will be provided. After the ceremony there will be a cocktail reception in a hotel garden including a variety of cheese and vegetable trays, an open bar, and sit down dinner menu, ten centerpieces, a wedding cake, champagne toast, chair covers and bows, a DJ, and beautiful landscaping.

    Lavish Wedding Option

    • The "Lavish Wedding Option" costs between $30,000-$45,000 and includes the elements of the "Elegant Wedding" plus the following components. For the ceremony you can have Cinderella's coach for your arrival, a Major Domo to deliver the rings in a glass slipper, heralds with trumpets to announce your arrival at the reception, and rose petals for your exit. Valet parking for your guests will be provided. The cocktail reception will include a menu with seafood and cheeses. A violinist will be playing during the cocktail hour and dinner. Wine will be served with dinner. Chocolate covered strawberries will be served with the cake which will have a white chocolate cake topper. There will also be a Sleeping Beauty backdrop and Mickey and Minnie dressed in their formal attire.

    Wedding Timeline

    • In order to have a Disneyland wedding you must begin a year before the wedding and meet with a Disneyland wedding planner. The deposit will be due eleven months before the wedding. Ten months before the wedding your wedding planner will show you the "Save the Date" cards for your approval and will send them the next month. More planning sessions will be scheduled in the following months and the final payments are due thirty days before the wedding. The final guest count is due four days before the wedding.

    Guest Accommodations

    • When your wedding planner mails out the save the date cards, she will include information on guest accommodations. This will encompass special rates on Disneyland hotel rooms, theme park admission prices, and other information on what there is to do in Southern California.
