    • Lake Thunderbird State Park is located 13 miles east of Norman, Oklahoma and 28 miles from Oklahoma City. The park offers eight unfurnished one-room cabins or huts on the lake, as well as sites for recreational vehicles and tent camping. Park amenities include restroom facilities with showers, Wi-Fi and picnic tables. The facility provides a playground, on-site naturalist, concessions and children's programs, plus a swimming beach and two marinas with nine boat ramps on 6,000-acre Lake Thunderbird.
