As you prepare a wedding card to send or give to a brand new husband and wife, make sure the congratulations message you write inside conveys your thoughts and ideas adequately. Whether you select a card with a pre-printed message and you simply want to add a personal note or you choose a blank card needing a complete message added to it, word the congratulations for a wedding card carefully to send your best wishes to the bride and groom.

Tips &- Warnings

  • If you know the bride and groom well, make the congratulatory message personal to their individual situations. For example, if the bride and groom have children from previous relationships, include the children in your best wishes.

  • Tailor your congratulatory message according to the individual people, if possible. For example, if the bride and groom share a strong faith, mention this in your message. Keep your message intentionally generic if you do not know the bride and groom well.
