Topanga Canyon is located in the Santa Monica Mountains just north of Los Angeles. The Topanga State Park wilderness is located on 13,000 acres, and it provides over 40 miles of trails for visitors to hike, mountain bike, horseback ride or enjoy 300 geocaches. Geocaches are new trend in outdoor entertainment, where a GPS hides treasures for others to find. There are numerous places for visitors to stay in close proximity to the Topanga Canyon.
