Beach wedding places in florida

It's interesting:
"Tradition decrees that the best man responds to the toast to the bridesmaids and I am happy to be asked to do so. Like everything else about this wedding they were perfection itself."

The "Sunshine State" of Florida provides warm temperatures year-round, which allows engaged couples to participate in beachside weddings through the year. This southeastern state offers beachfront locations on the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. Beachfront wedding sites include hotels, golf clubs and state parks. Due to Florida's tendency to rain, many of these sites provide indoor facilities if it is too wet for an outdoor ceremony.

  1. South Florida

    • The Marriott is in the South Beach area of Miami Beach and facilitates beachfront ceremonies on the Atlantic Coast. Ceremonies occur on the Atlantic Coast sands or Parkview Terrace, the hotel's outdoor patio area that overlooks the ocean. The hotel hosts receptions in the South Pointe Ballroom, a venue with a banquet seating capacity of 200. The Marriott also operates a registry for the bride and groom.

Key Biscayne's Ritz-Carlton hotel features a wedding gazebo on its private beach. The hotel facilitates "culturally authentic" ceremonies, or ceremonies where couples conduct their weddings according to their cultures. Culturally authentic ceremonies include Asian-Indian, African, Jewish and Latin weddings. The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom accommodates 660 people for banquet seating.

    Northeast Florida

    • The Casa Marina Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, has been featured in the The Knot- the magazine placed Casa Marina on its "Best of Weddings 2010" list. Chose between the hotel's private beach for an oceanside ceremony or the inner courtyard. The hotel's restaurant, Casa Marina, is available for wedding receptions and also provides catering.

The Golf Club of Amelia Island provides beachside weddings on the Atlantic Coast and the Club's 18-hole golf course. The Club provides chairs for ceremonies and receptions. Reception areas include the Golf Club's swimming pool area and the Club Dining Room. Packages include the ceremony, reception and rehearsal dinner costs.

    Florida Panhandle

    • Beachside weddings are available at the Sandestin Hilton in Destin. The wedding packages at this hotel include a ceremony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, live wedding music, a champagne toast for guests and ladder chairs for the ceremony. The hotel's reception site is the Emerald Ballroom, which accommodates up to 1,500 people- the adjacent Emerald Terrace offers views of the Gulf.

Panama City Beach's Edgwater Beach and Golf Resort has been listed as a popular wedding spot by USA Today and Southern Living magazine. The resort has a wedding coordinator on staff. Wedding services include airport transportation and champagne in the bridal party's suites. Receptions occur in the Grand Ballroom- wedding packages include catering and table setup for receptions and ceremonies.

    West Florida

    • Located in St. Pete Beach, Fort Desoto Beach Park's oceanfront weddings offer views of the Gulf of Mexico. Wedding packages include chair delivery and setup, wedding photography, recorded wedding music and an arch for the couple to stand under during the ceremony. The "Wedding Dreams" package includes decorated tiki torches and rose petals for the bridal aisle.

The Pink Shell Beach Resort in Fort Myers Beach is on the Gulf of Mexico and provides oceanfront weddings in Southwest Florida. The resort provides beach tents for ceremonies upon request. The Captiva Ballroom is a 4,000 square-foot space and has a banquet seating capacity of 180 people. There's a smaller reception area by the resort's pool.
