The city of Sturgeon Bay is in northeastern Wisconsin, at the end of Sturgeon Bay, which is between the waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. The city's historic waterfront is home to numerous luxury yachts, and visitors can take a narrated cruise along the waterfront in a historic Chicago Fireboat.     • The White Lace Inn offers romantic accommodations two blocks north of the Door County Museum and Sturgeon Bay Visitor's Center. The hotel offers 18 guest rooms in four early 20th-century homes decorated with antiques. Rooms feature Victorian beds including four-poster and canopy beds- most have whirlpools and some have fireplaces. A home-cooked breakfast is included in rates, and the hotel hosts live acoustic folk music on Thursday evenings. The White Lace Inn is licensed to host small wedding ceremonies in its parlor or garden gazebo. Nearby restaurants include the supper-club-style Chef Andy's Nautical Inn, three blocks away.

    • Garden Gate Bed and Breakfast is one block from the waterfront and a 10-minute walk from the 41-acre Sunset Park, which has a swimming beach, four tennis courts and a basketball court. The hotel has four rooms, some with antique beds, garden views and whirlpool baths.     • The Best Western Maritime Inn is two miles from Sturgeon Bay's waterfront and next to the Door County Fairgrounds. Facilities include a fitness center, indoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool- whirlpool suites are also available. Cherry Hills Golf Course is five mintues north. A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning, and the Neighborhood Bar and Grill is just a short stroll away.
