Hotels with a dance floor in chicago

It's interesting:
"On behalf of the bride and groom, I'd like to thank everyone for coming here today. Some of you have travelled considerable distances in order to be here and celebrate Paul and Linda’s happy day. Africa, Continental Europe, the Americas and Asia are not actually places where anyone has travelled from, but I hear that Uncle Jim and Auntie Morag had a 5 hour drive down from Glasgow."

Chicago is the nation's third largest city, home to more than two million residents. It is a hub for business and commerce, with the O'Hare International Airport being one of the busiest in the world. Although more than 160 hotels call Chicago home, not all of them have dance floors or the capacity to create one. For many events, including formal weddings and certain corporate receptions, a dance floor is a necessity.

  1. Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago

    • The Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago is known for hosting many high-profile events and guests. In fact, Richard Nixon stayed at this hotel in 1952 when he received an unanticipated nomination as the vice presidential candidate. The hotel's Crystal Ballroom features a large illuminated dance floor with a balcony overhead for people watching. In the 1920s, when the dance floor was originally built, it was made of glass. It has since been replaced with Plexiglass. The ballroom is available for weddings and events.

    The Elysian

    • The Elysian hotel offers the Sinclair ballroom for gatherings and events. The ballroom is described as having timeless, glamorous 1920s decor. The dance floor is not a permanent fixture but can be built for events. With the addition of the dance floor, the ballroom has space to seat 130 guests.

    Hyatt Regency O'Hare

    • The Hyatt Regency O'Hare is based in downtown Chicago and describes itself as a modern, sophisticated hotel. The Hyatt offers a dance floor and has several different ballrooms, seating up to 1,000 guests in a banquet setting and up to 2,500 for a reception.

    Swissotel Chicago

    • The Swissotel is a luxury hotel featuring a semi-circular Grand Ballroom with a large dance floor and cocktail reception area. The hotel is located in downtown Chicago, and the ballroom overlooks the Navy Pier. During the summer months, your guests can view private fireworks displays over the pier.
