   • Political power couples have appeared from time to time throughout American history. Dress as Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd. Have Adam carry a rubber snake to represent the serpent from the Garden of Eden and ensure that Eve has her apple polished and ready to offer to all who are tempted. Samson and Delilah are another Biblical couple that is easily recognized. Samson's long, flowing locks and tunic are an easy costume to create. Implement chains to reflect his time spent in slavery. Gold jewelry, a revealing, low-cut gown, tousled hair and exotic makeup offers a way for Delilah to show her physical beauty and tempting nature.

   • Throughout history there has been more than one famous couple that made beautiful music together. Dress as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Opt for garb from the 1960s and '70s. Wear love beads, let your hair flow long and loose and wear round eyeglasses like those that were popular at the time. A shorter man and taller woman make a perfect Sonny and Cher.
