Cincinnati restaurants bars

Cincinnati restaurants & bars

It's interesting:
"Since meeting Linda, I've seen terrific changes in Paul. He seems much more confident these days. He's surer of what he wants. He's happier, and he's much more willing to bend these days, too. Although he’s still adamant that Arsenal will win the next seasons Champions League."

For a night out on the town, Cincinnati has a host of bars and restaurants serving up steaks, martinis, local beer, barbecue and Cincinnati-style chili. Restaurants range from quick fast-food spots to high-end steakhouses. And the city's bars include cozy taverns, upscale sports bars and dance clubs with live music.

  1. Montgomery Inn & The Montgomery Inn Boathouse

    • Legendary Cincinnati establishments, the Montgomery Inn and the Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse serve up the city's favorite barbecue. The original location is just 15 minutes northeast of downtown, while the Boathouse sits perched on the lovely Ohio River, offering an unbeatable view. Both locations offer ribs served with Montgomery's distinctive sweet sauce. Other menu items include salmon, grilled pork chops and a variety of steaks as well as several combination platters, pairing the restaurant's famous ribs with duck, pulled pork and shrimp. An upscale sports lounge, decorated with an impressive array of sports memorabilia, is upstairs at the Boathouse location. Both Montgomery locations have played host to numerous famous patrons, including Bill Cosby, Elizabeth Taylor, Britney Spears and several presidents.

    Camp Washington Chili

    • No trip to Cincinnati is complete without a visit to one of the city's famous chili parlors. Camp Washington Chili has been a Cincinnati institution for over 60 years, serving up three-way, four-way and five-way chili, as well as double-decker sandwiches and coneys--hot dogs served with or without chili and cheese. Three-way chili, for those who don't know, is spaghetti noodles topped with chili and cheese. Add onions and/or beans to build four-way and five-way chili. Camp Washington Chili has a retro fifties look and feel, much like its original location, which once stood nearby. The famous chili parlor is open 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday.
