Snow camo wedding ideas

Snow camo wedding ideas

It's interesting:
"Tom looks great on his wedding day doesn't he? I won't say it's funny to see ... Congratulations to Tom and Susan on their wedding. And since it's election week ..."

Weddings often take on a variety of themes and incorporate specific color palettes. If a wedding couple are avid hunters, they may want to incorporate this into their wedding decor, for example. Since snow camouflage is typically a mixture of white and black, this can serve as an elegant color scheme for a wedding while still having roots in hunting.

  1. Attire

    • For the attire of the wedding bridal party, choose a black and white color palette, which will complement the snow camouflage theme. The bridesmaid dresses can be in the white and black camouflage pattern or they can have a snow camouflage accent, such as a sash tied around the waist of a black dress. The vests of the groomsmen can have the snow camouflage pattern, accented with a black tie, for a strikingly elegant look. The bride can even tie in the color scheme by adding a simple black sash around the waist of her dress.

    Tables

    • Choose tablecloths that reflect the snow camouflage black and white print. Accent the lively tablecloth pattern with some elegant black napkins, black chargers or white and black colored china. The centerpieces could tie in with the wedding theme as well by using black and white flowers, such as roses, lilies or even dyed carnations. In lieu of a floral centerpiece, fill clear glass vases with sleek white and black stones for a modern and sophisticated look. Tie the backs of the guest chairs with sashes printed in the snow camouflage pattern.

    Lighting

    • Reflect the snow camouflage theme of the wedding in the ceiling of the wedding venue. Hang black and white paper lanterns of various sizes from the ceiling to give the room a whimsical and playful lighting touch that complements the theme. Place black and white taper candles on highlight tables, such as the buffet table or wedding cake table, to give a soft glow to the room. Place white tea light candles into black, glass holders and scatter them around the guest tables.

    Wedding Cake

    • The wedding cake allots you ample room for incorporating your wedding theme in the decorations. Ask your baker to create a fondant frosting layer that resembles snow camouflage by blending together and rolling out black and white fondant. Add a cake topper of a bride and groom dressed in snow camouflage to top off the cake. In lieu of creating the entire cake in the snow camouflage, have the baker create a cake in either all white or all black with accents and decorations in the opposite color.
