Central Florida offers no shortage of nightclubs and bars. Many of these clubs, such as Gryphon and Pangaea, offer the latest in technical wizardry to compliment the varied music offerings. Most Central Florida nightclubs are meant only for those of legal drinking age, and they observe current Florida State rules regarding serving alcohol to minors.
Gryphon Nightclub
The Gryphon Nightclub, located within the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Seminole, Florida, was inspired by the Gryphon, which in mythology symbolized earth and sky. The nightclub offers two separate bar areas, an elevated VIP area, as well as a sunken dance floor, overseen by the DJ, who spins tunes from a Funktion-One sound system. From one night to the next, guests may see DJs such as Edgar V, Austin Leeds or DJ Roland. Music played at Gryphon is typically in the electronic dance music vein. Throughout the space, exotic dancers and musicians performing for the guests. Gryphon is open only on weekends starting at 10 p.m. A cover charge exists. Pangaea is Gryphon's sister club.

Roxy Nightclub

The Roxy Nightclub, located in Orlando, is a multi-level dance club designed to attract guests ranging in age from the 20s to the 40s. The club features a large dance floor along with video projection screens. Music ranges from Reggae to Latin. Nightly entertainment at the Roxy is provided by Skin Tight, the club's in-house dance team. There is a standard guest dance level as well as VIP and Elite levels, which are reserved for the Roxy's most distinguished guests. One of many promotions the Roxy offers is free-drink Fridays: Everyone drinks for free until a set, pre-announced time.

The Barn Nightclub

The Barn Nightclub, located in Sanford about 20 minutes outside of Orlando, features a dance floor in excess of 16,000 feet, as well as nine full bars and over 30 televisions. The nightclub specializes in a wide variety of music, from Reggae and Latin to karaoke. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, patrons can drink as much as they like (without being a danger to themselves or others). On Friday evenings, the first drink of the night is always complimentary.
