Choosing a gift for a Lebanese wedding may be a challenge, especially if the etiquette for the particular wedding you are attending is to give something traditionally and/or culturally Lebanese. It can be a safe bet to veer towards purchasing a religious gift if you know for certain what type of religious wedding it may be, otherwise, arts, crafts, and literature might be the way to go.

1. Lebanese Pottery

Lebanon is also known for woodcarving, and especially wooden beads, so choosing a pendant, ornament or rosary made out of the traditional olive and cedar of Lebanon is in order.

     Khalil Gibran is perhaps one of the most well-known writers and poets of Lebanon, and the third best-selling poet of all time. His most widely-known publication in the English world is "The Prophet," which is a collection on philosophical poetic essays. Otherwise, there are at least 15 collections of his English poetry currently in print, as well as eight other publications in Arabic.
