Hershey is a historic town in Pennsylvania, where Milton Hershey built the Hershey company. The factory workers and their families settled in this town. Today, it is town that hosts a theme park, museum, botancial gardens and Hershey lodging. People of all ages can enjoy the various activities that are available in this fun town.

      You can stay at Hershey Lodge, The Hotel Hershey or Hershey Highmeadow Campground. The Hotel Hershey has a chocolate spa and and other recreational activities such as golfing, shops and a jewelry store. See the resources section for additional information on these accommodations.

      There are also other hotels nearby to choose from as well.

      Go to Hershey Park, which consists of rides for all ages. It has many roller coasters, water rides and kiddie rides. Visit the Boardwalk, which consists of beaches and several water attractions. Hershey Park also has song and dance entertainment shows for you to enjoy.

      Visit the Hershey Museum to learn about the town of Hershey and how Milton Hershey started the Hershey company. Enjoy looking at exhibits and artifacts that were used by Hershey and his workers. Children will have fun doing activities in the Discovery Room and Chocolate Chats.

      Take a free factory tour of Chocolate World on a musical ride and learn about how various Hershey products are made. You can even package your own Hershey candy. The Really Big 3-D show is a song-and-dance show that will entertain people of all ages.

      Visit the botanical garden across from Hershey Park. The garden consists of many different types of flowers and butterflies. It also has a gift store where you can purchase arts and crafts.

      Take a buggy ride through farmlands with an Amish tour guide and learn about the Amish lifestyle. Depending on the tour you choose, you may get to see an Amish schoolhouse or visit an Amish house. Some tours also include a visit to the local gift store that sells Amish arts and crafts and baked food items. Many brochures for Amish buggy rides are available in the Visitor Center at Hershey Park.
