Wedding hairstyles for people with short bangs

Wedding hairstyles for people with short bangs

It's interesting:
"The best man at my own wedding told me that one and it worked - for 15 years anyway, before she left me for someone short, fat and balding, who happened to ..."

Short bangs can look fantastic whether they are tousled, curly or straight. Although traditional wedding hairstyles call for hair to be swept away from the face, that doesn’-t mean a short fringe cannot look perfectly suitable for the big day. The key is to keep it looking neat and glossy —- and it shouldn’-t cover the eyes.

Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Parted Fringe

    • Having a side parting and sweeping the fringe slightly to one side can look very sleek with medium or long straight hair. A tiara can be added too, as it will look good with this simple hairstyle. This is also the best way for people with round or heart-shaped faces to wear bangs.

    Curly Bangs

    • If you want to wear your hair curly, soft waves are best. Curling tongs can create subtle waves that can frame the face and will look great with hair accessories and a veil. This feminine hairstyle suits people with long or angular faces.

    Using Clips

    • If you want to keep your bangs off your face on the big day —- perhaps because it might interfere with the veil or whatever other headpiece you might be wearing —- you can clip your fringe to one side with hair clips. Use plenty of hairspray or gel to ensure it stays down.

    Hair Accessories

    • A short fringe can be smoothed down and a jeweled accessory or small hat can be placed over it, at the front of the head. Alternatively, the fringe can be swept back and gelled into place, as long as the hair accessory is going to cover it completely. The rest of the hair can be swept up in an updo, or if the hair is very short, it can be blown dry into a sleek bob.
