Lasalle illinois river cruises

Lasalle, illinois river cruises

It's interesting:
"Sorry if the speeches drag on. Wedding receptions can be a bit like an X Factor results show. You just want to skip through the talky bits to find out ..."

Step back in time to the turn of the century and cruise the Illinois River aboard a 19th-century river paddleboat. The captain and crew are dressed in period clothing and you may have just spent the morning touring the Hegeler Carus Mansion. Located at the crossroads of State Routes 80 and 39, along the Illinois River, LaSalle is just north of Flat Rock State Park. River cruises offer an entertaining, relaxing, informative, unique experience in which to explore LaSalle.

  1. La Salle Canal Boat

    • LaSalle Canal Boats offers several historic and educational canal boat cruises. Mules pull the canal boats, and employee-actors dressed as pioneers hand lead them down tow paths alongside the Illinois & Michigan. Actors posing as historical characters, such as Mary Todd Lincoln, reenact historical scenes on board the cruising canal boats. Lunches and snacks are provided and cruises range from one to five hours.
