Fun bachelorette invitations ideas

Fun bachelorette invitations & ideas

It's interesting:
"My first impression of Linda was that she was such a beautiful, witty, charming, clever, friendly and thoughtful person. And when she agreed to marry Paul, it totally proved to me that old adage – opposites really do attract."

Bachelorette parties offer an opportunity to celebrate a bride-to-be's upcoming nuptials, as well as the friendships and fun that she has experienced and enjoyed in her life. Plan a bachelorette party that she will remember fondly, and send out handmade invitations to the party that will add a touch of personalization and sentimentality to the party preparations.

  1. Spice Up Her Night

    • Use the image of a thick, red chili pepper for party invitations.

Plan a bachelorette party centered on Mexican food and salsa dancing, two things sure to spice up the night for the bachelorette and her party guests. Make group dinner reservations at a local Mexican restaurant that offers salsa or Latin dancing on certain nights. Party guests can stay at the dinner table and talk or linger over drinks if they don't want to dance.

Send out party invitations that feature the image of a bright red chili pepper glued onto a piece of folded black construction paper. Glue small triangles in other bright colors such as purple, yellow, and orange onto the front of the invitations at odd angles. Add the words "Spice Up Her Night" in white crayon underneath the chili pepper and print party details in red font on a white square of paper glued to the inside of the invitation. Embellish the party details paper with clip art images of high heels or dancing silhouettes before printing.

    Virgin Party

    • If the bride-to-be has proudly waited until her wedding night to experience sexual intimacy, celebrate her accomplishment with her at a virgin-themed bachelorette party. Make virgin drinks for the guests and play a soundtrack featuring songs such as Madonna's "Like a Virgin".

Send out tasteful invitations to this party that feature a black-and-white image of a married couple embracing or kissing. Glue this photo onto a piece of folded black paper with a thin border of pink ribbon around the edges. Print words like, "Help us celebrate Mandy's wait for her Mr. Right" in large, curly font below the picture. Inside the invitation, list party details on a piece of pink paper with clip art images of hearts or wedding rings to add decoration.

    Slumber Party

    • Advise guests to bring their own pillows to a slumber bachelorette party.

Plan a bachelorette slumber party for a group of the bride-to-be's oldest friends. Remember high school sleepovers as you paint one another's nails, swap makeup tips, order pizza, rent some movies that you all enjoyed years ago, look at old photographs, and, as The Knot, a wedding-planning website suggests, blend a frozen drinks and tell lighthearted stories. "Take a big sip every time someone makes the bride blush."

Send party invitations that feature wallet-sized snapshots of slumber parties from years past. After gluing each photo to a rectangle of white paper slightly bigger than each photo, thus creating a border around the photos, mount the photos on light blue paper that has been folded in half, top to bottom. Write "Remember this?" in large letters underneath the photos. Above the party details on the inside of the invitations, write, "Let's do it one last time before Cindy gets hitched!"
