Hawaiian resorts that do weddings

Hawaiian resorts that do weddings

It's interesting:
"It was 48 hours before the wedding and I had zero best man speech made. 2 hours after I found your site I had logged off with an excellent speech.' Luke Betts ..."

The romance of the Hawaiian Islands makes this tropical paradise an ideal setting for a wedding. The Pacific Ocean, gorgeous sunsets, palm trees, year-round warm weather and the many other enchanting qualities of the Aloha State will make your wedding ceremony unlike one held anywhere else in America. Many of Hawaii's resorts offer special wedding packages that will simplify the planning process and ensure a memorable event.

  1. Four Seasons Hualalai

    • Among the finest hotels on Hawaii's Big Island is the Four Seasons Hualalai, located just north of the town of Kailua-Kona. Situated at the base of one of Hawaii's active volcanoes, this resort offers a spectacular setting with the Pacific to the west and mountains to the east.

The resort offers a wedding package called Na Pua o Hualalai (The Flowers of Hualalai) in which the resort takes care of all the details, including the license, so the couple can enjoy their stay. The package includes a choice of oceanfront or indoor wedding sites, teak guest chairs, a wedding consultant and a nondenominational officiant.

Couples can choose a ceremony musician who will play a guitar, ukulele or violin, and a florist will meet with the couple to arrange the flowers. Flowers will include a bouquet, boutonniere and 2,000 orchids sprinkled at the wedding site. A photographer and wedding cake are also included.

    Hotel Hana-Maui

    • Hana, on the eastern tip of Maui, is a secluded destination that only a small number of visitors to Hawaii see. This lush oceanfront paradise is thick with tropical vegetation and offers some of the most peaceful surroundings on this otherwise busy island.

The Hamoa Wedding package includes a two-night stay at the resort's Sea Ranch Cottage, a private, ocean-view accommodation with its own lanai and spacious private hot tub.

The ceremony can take place in any location on the property and will be set up by a wedding specialist. The resort provides a nondenominational officiant, reception space, bridal bouquet and traditional wedding lei, marriage license appointment, solo musician, tables and seating.

Weddings take place in a white gazebo and include a variety of options, including a minister, musician, seating, flowers, decorations, photographer, cake and more. A videographer is also available to make a professional DVD of the ceremony.
