Destinations throughout the United States have special honeymoon packages, but with a little detective work, newlyweds who want to plan their own honeymoon can find a romantic location that will make their trip one to remember. Each couple can find the honeymoon spot that's perfect for them, whether they stay in a tent or in a five-star hotel.

1. Mackinac Island
