party in stillwater, ok
It's interesting:"Sorry if the speeches drag on. Wedding receptions can be a bit like an X Factor results show. You just want to skip through the talky bits to find out ..."
Despite being a small town, Stillwater is party town. They can't help it- after all, it is a college town. But you don't have to be an Oklahoma State University student to have a good time. Young or old, student or not, it is possible to have a real good time in Stillwater.
Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1
Hang out on the campus of Oklahoma State University. Visit the Student Union. There are students out just about anytime of the day and night. Walk up to one and ask where everyone is going that night.
2
Go the fraternity and sorority houses. Located all over the OSU campus, they have different activities and parties planned throughout the year. Look for cars parked around these houses and knock on the door. They may let you in. You never know what you might find on the other side of their door.
3
Look for flyers posted around town. Grocery stores, restaurants and other businesses post flyers that advertise different parties the OSU students are having. The Student Union and other buildings on campus will have flyers as well. Depending on the person who posted the flyer, you should find all the details about that particular party.
4
Head to "The Strip." This is home to many of the clubs in town. Located just off the main drag (Sixth Street) on Washington, this is the "partying fool's" favorite spot. Local bands and a few famous ones are scheduled to perform. Drink specials and great buys on typical bar fare makes this area of Stillwater a hit with the college students. Tumbleweed once employed Garth Brooks as a bouncer. In fact, he met his first wife there--he threw her out for fighting. Pop into Eskimo Joe's. World famous, this restaurant/bar has a family atmosphere during the day but turns to the place to party at night and on the weekends (see Resources below).
