Weddings are personal events and should reflect the style of the bride and groom. Musical selection is no exception. You don't have to feel tied to convention for your ceremony music. If "Here Comes the Bride" is too traditional for you, and Pachelbel's "Canon in D" is too staid, choose music that means something to you and your partner for your special day.
Prelude
When your wedding guests are taking their seats and getting settled for the ceremony, many couples provide prelude music. Instead of traditional classical music, make an impression with a playlist of your favorites. If you and your fiance are on the pop-punk side, consider Green Day's "Time of Your Life." For a darker, goth feel, choose Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life." "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 would also make lovely prelude music.
