A pagan wedding arch will be beautifully clad with your favorite flowers, and the ribbons and ties will catch the breeze to send your prayers aloft. By starting with a pre-fabricated bare arch, those involved will have great fun and creative input as you fill in the areas, customizing it to your special occasion.

Things You'll Need

• Pre-fab bare arch or trellis
• Sand bags
• Flowers
• Herbs
• Willow branches
• Greenery

     Assemble the arch or trellis according to manufacturer instructions, and anchor it into place solidly. Hide any sandbags with greenery.

     Gather all the flowers, greens, ornaments and other materials you wish to put on the arch. When choosing flowers, you can purchase from florists, but having additional seasonal wild flowers helps.

     Cover the arch with vines and greenery, leaving areas for the flowers. Arrange the flowers around the greens, tying them in with twine or floral wire. Leave small areas for where you want to place any ornaments.

     Tie and weave the ribbon strips throughout. Leave long, flowing strips around both sides of the arch. Shorter ones can hang from the top area. Tuck in herb bundles or branches.
