Wedding halls in tennessee

Wedding halls in tennessee

It's interesting:
"My first impression of Linda was that she was such a beautiful, witty, charming, clever, friendly and thoughtful person. And when she agreed to marry Paul, it totally proved to me that old adage – opposites really do attract."

Marry in Tennessee and you'll have 95 counties and more than 150 venues to choose from. Experience the state's musical heritage in Nashville, the home of country music, and see the natural wonders of the Cumberland Plateau and Smoky Mountains in Gatlingburg and Smithville. A state-valid marriage license is needed, and you must be over the age of 18 to be eligible to marry in Tennessee. Anybody under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the ceremony.

  1. Natural Backdrop Venues

    • Get married at Scatterbridge Lodge with Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains as your backdrop. Hold your ceremony next to the Little Pigeon River, in front of a waterfall or inside the lodge. Facilities include a wedding officiate, staff escort and use of a private beach with river ceremonies. On request, staff can arrange a pre-wedding dinner along with a photographer, bouquet, wedding cake and full catering service.

Host your wedding at The Inn at Evins Mill, and choose from five indoor and six outdoor locations. A wedding runner, chair covers and facilitator all are included as part of your package. Marry outdoors in front of the Cumberland Plateau and Highland Rim. Hold your reception in Grand Lodge and toast your union by the open log fire or sit back and take-in views of the Evins Mill Pond and the Gristmill.

    Music Heritage Venues

    • Marry at the Country Music Hall of Fame and experience Nashville's historic music heritage. Surrounded by bronze plaques featuring some of Nashville's most famous musicians, you can say your vows in one of five halls, including the 4,500 square foot Hall of Fame Rotunda, which holds 300 guests. Celebrate your marriage on the Crump Terrace, which offers panoramic views of downtown Nashville, surrounded by gum trees, ivy and roses.

Declare your love in the same place Joni Mitchell, Patsy Cline, James Brown and many more have performed at the Ryman Auditorium. You'll have access to eight backstage dressing rooms and a private make-up room, and staff will be on hand to cater to your every need. Hold your reception on the low-lit stage or in the 2,300 seat auditorium.

    Country Weddings

    • An 1830's antebellum farm estate, Cedarwood, offers a vintage barn, a six acre meadow, a parlour room and garden terrace for you to hold your ceremony. Marry in the Double Parlour with its masonry fireplaces and coffered ceilings or celebrate in the rural surroundings of the barn, which holds up to 175 guests. Amenities include a bridal suite, Carriage House cottage for the groom and one acre private parking area. Catering is available on request.

A rustic log chapel located next to the Smoky Mountains, Chapel in the Glen has beamed ceilings and open log fires to help make your day extra special. You'll have the choice of a range of wedding packages, each offering a wedding album and bridal bouquet along with specific extras depending on your choice.

    Historical Home Venues

    • Situated in 25 acres of woodland and registered on the National Historic Register, Heartwood Hall offers couples five different venues for their wedding: the Main House, Four Seasons Garden, Barn, Guesthouse and Cabin & Lake. For those who marry at the Main House, the second floor is designated to the bride and bridesmaids as a pre-wedding pamper space. The Four Seasons garden accommodates up to 300 guests and ceremonies take place in front of the atrium. A wedding coordinator and catering staff are available to cater to guests' specific requests.
