Dayton, Ohio, is often overlooked on the event front in favor of its more populated neighbors, Cincinnati and Columbus. Bigger events might usually be held in bigger cities, but the wedding industry has not forgotten about Dayton. 1. Dayton Bridal Expo

   • Held annually in January, the Dayton Bridal Expo takes place at the Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton and is one of the largest shows of its type in the Dayton area. Admission is $8 per person, and the Expo is generally held from late morning to late afternoon. The expo includes fashion shows with the latest in bridal couture and hundreds of vendors.

   Hara Bridal Gala

   • The Hara Arena is the venue for this annual weekend bridal show. The gala is held every January, and admission is $6 for adults and free for those ages 12 and under. This bridal show offers fashion shows, more than 70 exhibitors and prize drawings for items such as wedding dresses and honeymoons.

   Catering Cook-off and Bridal Show

   • The Dayton Bridal Connection (DBC) is a place for brides and vendors in the Dayton area to meet and discuss weddings. Every January, the DBC holds the Catering Cook-off and Bridal Sallow vendors to demonstrate their top-selling wedding meals and compete for the prize of best caterer.    Fall and Winter Bridal Show

   • Another bridal event that happens near Dayton each fall is worth checking out. The Fall and Winter Bridal Show consists of events held at two different locations close to Dayton. In Springfield, it's at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, and in Beavercreek, it's at the Hilton Garden Inn. Both events showcase fall bridal fashion and offer vendors a chance to showcase their work to potential customers.
