How to buy direct from the manufacturer

buy direct from the manufacturer

It's interesting:
"It was 48 hours before the wedding and I had zero best man speech made. 2 hours after I found your site I had logged off with an excellent speech.' Luke Betts ..."

Usually manufactured goods reach consumers through networks of distributors and retailers. From the manufacturer to the end consumer, the product's price rises with each new tier of intermediation, as the middlemen need to get decent profits for their services. Direct buying from factories, also known as factory direct, cuts out all intermediaries, allowing consumers to buy directly from producers. Buying directly from factories is profitable both for manufacturers (they get a cheap distribution channel), and consumers (lower prices).

Instructions

    • 1

Identify the manufacturers of the goods you want to buy. Visit their websites and try to find information on buy directly from them and whether it will be cheaper than through conventional retail stores. Some companies offer lower prices if the consumer orders goods directly from their e-stores.

If such information is not available on the manufacturers' websites, don't hesitate to get in touch with them. Serving customers is their primary goal and so they will probably answer your questions without a delay.

Check out liquidation outlets--stores specialized in selling surplus, discontinued, one-of-a-kind, and other heavily discounted goods. They may even have cheaper prices than the manufacturers. In case the manufacturer does not sell to end consumers at all, this may be the only available option to buy cheap goods.

Compare the prices of different manufacturers and liquidation stores and buy goods that offer the best deal. When buying from liquidation stores, use secure and reliable money payments systems like credit cards or PayPal, so if the goods delivered will not match their description, you will still be able to get your money back.
